The annual Puck Cancer® Cup hockey tournament allows participants to fight for the Cup as opponents. At the same time they unite as a team, facing a more grueling opponent-cancer.
The Puck Cancer® Cup has raised over $30,000 in just 3 years for cancer research and has doubled in size to include over 240 women from the Midwest. We have thrived because of the willingness of friends, family, businesses and participating hockey teams to support our cause through hard work and charitable donations.
The tournament includes adult women’s divisions with plans to expand in the future, so that all people in the hockey community touched by cancer are able to assist us in shutting out the disease

August 10-12, 2007 - The 3rd Annual Puck Cancer Cup
Our third year and we have grown again to include 16 adult women’s teams from Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan and Florida. Glacier Ice was packed from morning through night with women hungry for the cup. Athletes, Coaches and Fans shared their comments on a banner that read “Puck Cancer, We Give A Puck!”. After reading these comments, the real reason why they are here is clear - for their family and friends (patients, survivors and victims) who’ve suffered a diagnosis of cancer. Together, we raised $15,000 for cancer research in our most successful tournament to date!

August 11-13, 2006 – The 2nd Annual Puck Cancer Cup
This year’s event was double in size and included 12 Adult women hockey teams from the Midwest. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and determination to win as over 30 games of hockey were played.

August 12-14, 2005 - The Inaugural year of the Puck Cancer Cup
The tournament began as a fun way to raise funds for a cancer walk presented by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Six local teams participated in a weekend filled with fun and hockey to raise money for the walk.
