Sue Padulo was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma when she was 26 years old. She was forced to stop playing hockey to undergo major surgery, months of chemo and radiation treatments and 2 years of recovery. The love of her favorite sport and her desire to skate drove her to a healthy cancer-free life. To celebrate Sue's survivorship, Sue and her sister Sandy Cross co-founded Puck Cancer®. Through a combined 15 years in the hockey world they have built an extensive network of allies and allied organizations dedicated to defeating cancer, just like they defeat their opponents on the ice. As of July 9th, 2006 Sue was considered cured. Puck Cancer is dedicated to attaining these same results for all cancer patients/survivors as well as helping families financially/personally in need because of cancer related issues. We are seeking your assistance in shutting-out cancer, as we know it. We can only do this with your help.
