November 07 - Puck Cancer is saddened to inform you that we have endured a great loss. Co-founder Sandy Cross (30 years of age) passed away a few days after the birth of her first child Kennedy Catherine, due to complications resulting from a pulmonary embolism. Sandy’s determination to fight cancer was ignited after her sister and best-friend had endured a battle with Hodgkin’s disease at the age of 26. Her compassion and enthusiasm has been vital in the tremendous progress of Puck Cancer. As Sandy’s spirit lives on within us we will continue to uphold her remarkable drive to bring hockey enthusiasts together in shutting-out cancer.
